Account Executive

• New Customer Acquisition: Meet and exceed revenue targets, with a focus on acquiring new customers within the developer community. Proactively source new leads and new business opportunities to ensure a robust pipeline. Evangelize Diagrid’s products to new customers.
• Customer Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with key customers. Act as the main point of contact for client inquiries and ensure customer satisfaction.
• Present the value of Diagrid software to senior executives mainly across technical functions.
• Reach out to new trials/users within customers to expand use cases and drive more revenue.
• Ensure healthy customer retention and expansion through consultative partnerships.
• Market Analysis: Conduct market research to identify trends, opportunities, and competitive insights. Use this information to inform sales strategies and positioning in the market. Stay abreast of industry trends and competitor activities to inform strategic decision-making.
• Collaboration: Work closely with the customer success, product, and marketing teams to align sales efforts with overall company objectives. Provide valuable insights from customer interactions to shape product development and marketing strategies. Collect and share product feedback to our internal teams.
• Pipeline Management: Build the reports to help define the sales pipeline. Manage and track sales pipeline and forecast accurately in Hubspot. Utilize Hubspot to maintain up-to-date information on leads, opportunities, and customer interactions.
• Sales Presentations: Deliver compelling presentations and product demonstrations to potential clients, showcasing the value proposition of Diagrid's solutions. Be an exemplary ambassador for Diagrid, both internally and externally.
• Feedback Loop: Act as a bridge between customers and the internal teams, providing feedback on customer needs, pain points, and industry trends. Collect and share product feedback to our internal teams.

Developer Relations

• Grow the Dapr OSS Community: Drive contributor growth, engagement, and adoption metrics across GitHub, Discord, and other channels.
• Moderate & Nurture the Ecosystem: Actively moderate the Dapr Discord (and future community platforms), answer technical questions, recognize contributors, and foster a welcoming, high-signal environment.
• Create Compelling Content: Write high-quality blog posts for the Dapr blog and Diagrid Catalyst, produce tutorials, architectural guides, and sample applications showcasing Dapr + AI agents, workflows, state management, service invocation, and more.
• Lead Webinars & Live Sessions: Proactively plan and deliver technical webinars, workshops, and live demos on a regular cadence.
• Manage YouTube & Video Presence: Own the Dapr/Diagrid YouTube channel — script, record, edit, and publish videos, demos, and recordings of community events.
• Coordinate Events & Meetups: Help organize and host Dapr Meetups, Dapr Days, conference talks, and community events in the Bay Area and globally (with travel as needed).
• Build Diagrid Demos & Tools: Create sample applications, starters, and reference architectures that demonstrate best practices for Dapr in production and AI agent use cases.
• Gather Feedback & Influence Product: Act as the voice of the developer community — surface friction points, feature requests, and success stories to Engineering and Product teams.
• Represent Diagrid publicly: Speak at conferences, participate in podcasts, engage on social media (X, LinkedIn, etc.), and be a trusted advocate for Dapr and Diagrid.

Performance Marketing

• Develop and execute multi-channel demand generation strategies and campaigns (paid media, content syndication, email nurturing, webinars, and ABM) that consistently deliver qualified leads and pipeline.
• Own performance marketing channels, including LinkedIn Ads, Google Ads, retargeting, and content promotion — continuously testing, optimizing, and scaling for ROI and pipeline velocity.
• Lead Account-Based Marketing (ABM) programs in close partnership with Sales to accelerate high-value opportunities.
• Drive organic growth by delivering strong SEO and AEO (Answer Engine Optimization) results. Optimize website content, technical structure, and assets to improve visibility in traditional search engines as well as AI-powered answer engines (e.g., ChatGPT, Perplexity, Google AI Overviews, Claude, etc.), ensuring Diagrid ranks for high-intent developer and infrastructure queries.
• Reporting & Analytics: Build, maintain, and present comprehensive reporting dashboards covering campaign performance, pipeline attribution, MQL-to-SQL conversion, event ROI, social engagement, SEO/AEO performance, and overall marketing contribution to revenue. Deliver actionable insights and recommendations to marketing, sales, and executive leadership on a regular cadence.
• Work hand-in-hand with the Product Marketing team to align campaigns with product positioning, develop technically accurate and compelling messaging, co-create content and assets, and ensure all demand programs resonate deeply with platform engineers, AI/ML teams, and enterprise infrastructure buyers.
• Act as a data-driven builder: experiment relentlessly, measure everything, and iterate quickly to scale what works in a resource-efficient startup environment.
• Proactively create and lead AI strategies for all dimensions of Marketing using AI-tools (Claude, Grok, ChatGPT, etc.) to accelerate top-of-funnel growth and optimize for conversion.
