About the role
- Lead Dexcom’s insight delivery strategy—defining what insights we deliver, how often, and why they matter to patients and providers.
- Work backward from meaningful outcomes to identify the data and capabilities needed to power differentiated, personalized experiences.
- Define modular services and microservices that power patient and provider experiences across Dexcom’s global ecosystem, driving reuse and consistency.
- Partner with data science to turn raw signals into behavioral, contextual, and predictive insights and personalized recommendations.
- Identify key data inputs and support integration efforts to AI-driven insights.
- Collaborate across engineering, clinical, regulatory, legal, commercial and other teams to deliver safe, compliant, and globally deployable solutions.
- Ensure insights are surfaced in intuitive, meaningful ways that support user goals and drive engagement.
- Benchmark against competitive offerings and emerging technologies to define Dexcom’s unique value in connected metabolic health.
- Collaborate with research and clinical teams to validate impact through evidence-based insights and responsibly incorporate AI, clinical decision support and alerts.
- Steward the roadmap for insights and workflow services, including Dexcom’s metabolic health platform and insights engine.
Requirements
- 7+ years in product management or a closely related role, ideally in digital health, wellness platforms, or data-driven services.
- Typically requires a Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 13+ years of related experience; at this level a graduate degree may be expected with 6 years of related experience.
- Experience defining and delivering personalized insights, with a strong grasp of data pipelines, APIs, and modular service architectures.
- Proven ability to lead across engineering, clinical, regulatory, and commercial teams in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
- Comfort navigating regulated domains (e.g., SaMD, HIPAA) while also building non-regulated features that scale globally.
- Experience contributing to the development of Software as a Medical Device (SaMD) or Clinical Decision Support (CDS) tools, including involvement in regulatory submissions or validation processes (preferred).
- Applied knowledge of AI/ML in healthcare and experience addressing bias, transparency, and evidence-based validation.
- Familiarity with HIPAA, GDPR, and FHIR standards.
- Experience supporting international or enterprise-scale products, including localization, regional compliance, and multi-market deployment.
- Exposure to modern software architectures such as microservices, APIs, and cloud-native platforms.
- Experience defining product requirements for clinical workflows and data-driven services.
- Demonstrated ability to design modular, reusable product components or workflows that scale across platforms and geographies.
- Experience using analytics, performance metrics, and user feedback to inform product decisions and drive continuous improvement.
