About the role

  • Impinj is seeking a strategic, technically strong Product Management leader to grow RAIN RFID solutions and services.
  • Own roadmap and execution for embedded firmware, cloud services, and AI/ML-powered data analytics that transform RFID signal data into business intelligence.
  • Define and manage roadmap for embedded software, RFID services, cloud APIs, and intelligent data models.
  • Lead delivery of embedded firmware and edge intelligence on readers, reader ICs, gateways, and mobile devices.
  • Design cloud-native and hybrid-cloud services for tag resolution, analytics, and device management.
  • Partner with engineering and data science to productize models turning raw RFID signals into real-time insights for inventory, movement, location intelligence and fraud detection.
  • Engage with Fortune-500 enterprise customers and partners to define requirements and validate product-market fit.
  • Work cross-functionally to launch services, drive adoption, and communicate value to customers, developers, and system integrators.

Requirements

  • 12+ years in product management, preferably in embedded systems, cloud platforms, SaaS or IoT services.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field
  • Excellent communicator with experience aligning engineering and business teams.
  • Experience building and scaling software offerings—from firmware to cloud APIs to data pipelines.
  • Strong technical foundation in wireless, edge computing, or sensing technologies.
  • Familiarity with RAIN RFID, real-time event processing, or sensor data platforms.
  • Experience with AI/ML-driven features, cloud deployment, and enterprise integrations.
  • Deep experience in embedded software, cloud APIs, and data-driven services.
