About the role

  • Lead our technology roadmap for Sales, Marketing, and Service.
  • Manage US resources for the primary business partner to our Commercial leadership team.
  • Oversee the ecosystem of applications that drive revenue (CRM, Marketing Automation, Analytics).
  • Ensure strict adherence to the regulatory requirements unique to the Medical Device industry (HIPAA, GDPR, Sunshine Act, GxP).
  • Partner with Sales, Marketing, and Commercial Operations leadership to define a multi-year technology strategy.
  • Analyze business processes to identify gaps and opportunities for automation, digitalization, and efficiency improvements.
  • Manage the Commercial IT budget, including CapEx / OpEx planning, software licensing, and vendor contract negotiations.
  • Own the architecture, development, and ongoing maintenance of the Commercial stack, primarily focused on Salesforce.com (SFDC) or Veeva CRM.
  • Oversee the integration of marketing automation platforms (e.g., Marketo, HubSpot, Salesforce Marketing Cloud) with the CRM.

Requirements

  • Typically requires a Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline
  • 13+ years of industry experience
  • 5-8 years of previous people management experience
  • Proven track record of managing full-lifecycle IT projects using Agile/Scrum methodologies.
  • Understanding of ERP integrations (SAP, Oracle, or Microsoft Dynamics) with Commercial front-end systems.
  • Understanding of MedTech sales cycles, GPO contracting, and HCP engagement models.
  • Ability to drive adoption of new tools among a non-technical field sales force.
  • Excellent executive presentation skills; ability to explain complex technical concepts to commercial stakeholders.
