Communications

• Support communications for DevTech products and client-facing tools, including materials that explain product features, updates, training resources, user guidance, and implementation support.
• Coordinate with DevTech home office staff, technical teams, and project teams to develop clear, accurate, and polished communications materials.
• Support product communications, outreach, training materials, and other project-related communications needs.
• Assist in the production of communications and marketing materials, including social media content, blog posts, case studies and success stories, presentations and one-pagers, factsheets, brochures, banners, and other outreach materials.
• Support management of DevTech’s social media platforms and contribute to a consistent, strategic online presence.
• Format proposals, reports, presentations, and outreach materials according to DevTech, Department of State, and other client branding requirements, while supporting Section 508 compliance.
• Assist in implementing DevTech’s marketing and communications strategy and project-level communications campaigns.
• Support organizational change management, internal communications, and product adoption efforts.
• Copyedit proposals, reports, client-facing materials, and other written products as needed.
• Perform additional communications and/or administrative tasks as assigned.

Communications Assistant

Analytics Engineer

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines and ETL/ELT workflows to support humanitarian operational and analytical needs.
• Build and optimize data models, schemas, and cloud-based data architectures to support dashboards, machine learning workflows, and advanced analytics.
• Respond quickly to database problems that arise and carry out periodic maintenance and troubleshooting.
• Monitor the system performance by performing regular tests, troubleshooting, and integrating new features.
• Integrate heterogeneous humanitarian data sources.
• Implement data quality, validation, and monitoring processes to ensure accuracy, reliability, and transparency.
• Maintain an awareness of trends and developments in database maintenance.
• Maintain documentation, metadata, and data governance standards in alignment with state department policies.
• Occasionally, respond quickly to data needs for responses to rapid onset disasters or urgent decision-making requests.
• Explore and analyze complex humanitarian datasets to identify trends, anomalies, risks, and opportunities.
• Produce actionable insights that inform policy, resource allocation, program design, and crisis response.
• Support predictive analytics or light machine-learning workflows where appropriate.
• Communicate analytical findings clearly to technical and non-technical audiences.
• Serve as a subject-matter resource for data best practices, including how to access, interpret, and apply available datasets.
• Work closely with the team business analyst and HA decision makers to understand their data needs and translate them into analytical or technical solutions.
• Provide training, informal guidance, and practical tools to staff who rely on data for decision-making.
• Demonstrate flexibility by taking on adjacent responsibilities as needed in a small, fast moving team environment to ensure project goals are met.
• Engage in continuous learning about the humanitarian sector.

Data Engineer, Analyst

Operations

• Provide administrative and operational support to DevTech’s project and corporate teams.
• Schedule meetings and maintain calendars for project and corporate staff.
• Create presentations, briefing materials, newsletters, social media content, or other communications products.
• Manages calendars, schedules meetings, and coordinates travel arrangements.
• Assist with travel arrangements and expense documentation.
• Support preparation of reports, presentations, spreadsheets, and other project documents.
• Exercise sound judgment and a moderate level of autonomy to troubleshoot issues, anticipate needs, and support smooth day-to-day operations.
• Enter, update, and verify information in internal tracking systems.
• Provide support for business development and special projects, including research, coordination, and preparation of materials.
• Support project teams with administrative tasks, document management, and routine coordination activities.
• Provide general administrative support to project and corporate operations teams.
