About the role
- Lead a Regional Pod: Oversee a multidisciplinary team—including Claims Advisors, Claims Specialists, and Appraisers—within a designated region, ensuring seamless service delivery and operational excellence.
- Drive Strategic Execution: Develop, implement, and monitor your unit’s business and action plans, aligning them with Desjardins’ strategic priorities and collaborating effectively across administrative units.
- Foster a High-Performance Culture: Manage individual and team performance through clear objectives, coaching, and continuous feedback, while promoting accountability and results-driven practices.
- Champion Client Satisfaction: Ensure that all service activities meet or exceed expectations, delivering a consistent and positive experience for members and clients.
- Support Organizational Change: Establish communication and leadership practices that facilitate change management, employee engagement, and alignment with Desjardins’ values of cooperation, inclusion, and innovation.
- Develop and Retain Talent: Attract, mentor, and retain top talent by creating a supportive environment focused on growth, diversity, and professional development.
- Optimize Processes: Continuously assess and improve operational workflows to enhance efficiency, quality, and responsiveness across claims functions.

Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a related field
- A minimum of seven years of relevant experience including two years of management experience
- Management or leadership experience
- Coaching and talent development experience
- Advanced proficiency of English due to the nature of the duties or work tools or because the position involves interactions with English-speaking partners, members and/or clients
- Proven ability to analyze data, think strategically, and build effective teams
- Advanced knowledge of claims operation
