About the role
- Manage strategic, integrated brand marketing and activation campaigns for Fortune 500 clients
- Lead a junior team of experienced marketers in developing, executing, and measuring activation programs
- Daily management of client partnerships and manage planning through execution of multiple marketing campaigns and events
- Identify contractors, supervise onsite personnel/brand ambassadors, and ensure implementation within budget
- Collaborate with senior management to build official partnerships and strategize athlete relationships and contracts
- Contribute to project recaps providing analysis and recommendations
- Maintain high level of knowledge of the sponsorship/marketing industry
- Frequent travel required, including weekends and occasional holidays
Requirements
- 5+ years of sponsorship consulting experience, including client management and strategic planning
- 3+ years of client marketing experience, working on high-profile sponsorship programs involving the International Committee (IOC), National Committees (e.g., USOPC), or - related governing bodies and partners
- Experience managing complex sponsorship programs across other major sports and entertainment platforms, with exposure to industries such as Financial Services and Technology
- Understanding and working knowledge of full marketing and activation mix, including social media, content marketing, influencer partnerships, experiential, paid media, and retail or promotional tie-ins
- Experience developing and presenting strategic sponsorship concepts
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field
