About the role

  • Plaud AI is hiring a Field Event Manager in San Francisco, California to plan and execute world-class brand activations, vertical trade shows, industry summits, and sponsorship-led events. You’ll bring Plaud’s brand to life across key cities, strengthen thought leadership, and support business goals through unforgettable experiences.
  • Lead planning and execution of Plaud AI’s owned global events (e.g. product showcases, brand summits).
  • Collaborate with creative, PR, and product teams to ensure brand consistency and high-impact storytelling.
  • Identify and manage Plaud’s presence at industry trade shows across verticals such as tech, healthcare, sales, legal, and enterprise productivity.
  • Handle end-to-end execution, from booth design and staffing to lead capture and post-event engagement.
  • Design and deliver high-touch C-level events, roundtables, and networking sessions across global hubs.
  • Work with Sales, Partnerships, and Product Marketing to align objectives and attendee profiles.
  • Evaluate, negotiate, and manage event sponsorships aligned with brand and business goals.
  • Ensure Plaud’s visibility and voice through speaking slots, branding, and partner collaborations.
  • Manage event timelines, vendor relationships, budgets, contracts, and on-site execution.
  • Ensure flawless event production and attendee experience, whether physical, hybrid, or virtual.
  • Define KPIs, track performance (e.g. leads, impressions, feedback), and report ROI post-event.
  • Continuously optimize event strategy based on performance data and stakeholder input.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in event management, brand activations, or experiential marketing—ideally in a tech, SaaS, or premium consumer brand.
  • Proven success executing global events, trade shows, and executive-level summits.
  • Strong project management, vendor negotiation, and multi-tasking skills.
  • Experience with event platforms, CRM integration, and attendee analytics.
  • Passion for technology, branding, and creating unforgettable experiences.
  • Ability to travel as required (~30%).
