Design and execute enterprise-level event strategies that support team member engagement, recognition, and corporate initiatives
Responsible for the worldwide development, beginning to end creation, management and execution of events for team members and key internal stakeholders that support engagement, strategy and rewards and recognition
Create and implement a global philanthropic strategy that aligns with the company’s four global community pillars
Oversee all charitable initiatives, including the company’s charitable giving budget
Lead complex timelines, logistics, budgets, and vendor coordination with strong organization and attention to every detail
Craft executive decks, internal announcements, and compelling messaging that elevates both events and community impact initiatives
Assess program effectiveness, track KPIs, and provide insights that help scale successful initiatives across regions
Report to the Director, Team Member Engagement & Philanthropy and work closely with Internal Communications and Executive teams; member of Corporate Communications & Marketing team
Serve as the primary execution person in Atlanta, where Global Payments is headquartered
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, or related field
Minimum of 5+ years relevant experience leading high-visibility, large-scale events (corporate/international experience preferred)
Proven project management success in fast-paced environments
Experience with corporate social responsibility or philanthropic program design
Strong executive presence and experience supporting C-suite leaders
Team management, as this role has direct reports
Writing and content development
Works well under pressure, works autonomously and is able to meet tight deadlines
Financial services or technology industry experience is a plus
