About the role
- Translate system-level requirements into block-level specifications, interfaces, and design constraints
- Lead architectural exploration, modelling, and trade-off analysis (power, area, performance, scalability)
- Drive top-level integration, clocking strategy, resets, and low power concepts
- Review and approve RTL implementation to ensure alignment with architecture
- Contribute to documentation, design guidelines, and long-term platform strategy
- Support silicon bring-up and debug from an architectural perspective
- Act as a technical mentor for engineers involved in digital IC development
Requirements
- A degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, or a related field
- Solid experience in digital IC architecture, SoC integration, or digital design (preferably in ASIC development)
- Strong understanding of RTL design (VHDL/Verilog/SystemVerilog)
- Experience with system level modelling and architectural analysis
- Knowledge of low power design techniques, clocking, and SoC integration
- Experience with verification principles (UVM or similar) is an advantage
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to structure complex technical challenges
- Clear communication skills and the ability to collaborate across disciplines
