About the role

  • Guide care providers through CQC inspections, registrations, and quality turnarounds
  • Conduct detailed mock inspections using authentic and updated CQC methodology
  • Develop bespoke compliance roadmaps for underperforming services
  • Lead crisis interventions for homes at risk of enforcement
  • Simplify CQC registration for new providers
  • Deliver evidence-based training to upskill care teams
  • Implement actionable improvements to elevate care standards
  • Choose and undertake project-based work across the UK’s adult care sector (nation-wide travel required, hybrid-based projects)
  • Work autonomously and as part of the Delphi Task Force team, collaborating with MDT for clinical/non-clinical, HR and compliance support

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in healthcare management, nursing, or a related field
  • Recent work experience within the last 5 years in a compliance/quality role within social care (Learning Disabilities, Autism Spectrum Disorders, Mental Health Conditions, Complex Care, Supported Living, Epilepsy, Dementia, Domiciliary Care, Elderly Care, Residential or Nursing Care, Local Authorities, Eating disorders, Sensory impairments, Long-term conditions, Physical disabilities) - Preferred
  • Minimum of 3 years' work experience as a current or ex-CQC inspector delivering quality management and regulatory compliance with UK health and social care - Desirable
  • In-depth knowledge of CQC regulations, KLOEs, MCP/OLM frameworks, and regulatory updates
  • Hands-on experience with CQC/Care Inspectorate inspections, audits, and policy development
  • Exceptional report writing and stakeholder management skills
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data and identify trends and patterns
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage with diverse stakeholders at all levels of an organization
  • Ability to organise work to deadlines
  • Proven ability to develop and implement quality improvement initiatives and drive organizational change
  • Access to own vehicle with full UK driving licence
  • DBS registered with the rolling update system
  • Valid public liability and professional indemnity insurance policies
  • Experience as a Care Operations Manager or Care Compliance Manager or Care Quality Manager or current/ex-CQC Regulatory Inspector (guide providers through CQC inspections, registrations, and quality turnarounds)
