• You will report to the Rider Compliance Team Lead and collaborate with the Rider Compliance Team to proactively ensure riders remain in-service and compliant by effectively and efficiently managing compliance pipelines. In collaboration with the Rider Compliance Senior team, you will be responsible for reducing rider downtime resulting from compliance processes and ensuring Deliveroo is compliant with local laws at all times
• Accurately load riders to compliance sweeps to ensure we have valid and compliant rider information and documentation
• Monitor the rider compliance flows to ensure minimal friction in the process
• Provide SME compliance knowledge to Deliveroo team to ensure we successfully launch in new markets and our fleet remains compliant
• Manage vendor compliance queues to ensure that compliance cases are reviewed and actioned efficiently
• Develop and provide SME market-specific compliance knowledge to our vendors and internal teams
• Respond to internal and external compliance escalations
• Ensure the Rider Compliance Team process and training documentation is up-to-date
• Provide comprehensive training to new starters and our vendors
• Collaborate with the Compliance Team to identify opportunities for reducing inefficiencies within our processes
• Collaborate with the broader Rider Compliance Team to achieve KPIs and targets

Full-stack Engineer

• As a Staff Software Engineer at Deliveroo, your individual work contributes to achieving group-level goals and metrics. Occasionally you will lead work outside of the direct remit of your team benefitting other teams. You will report to managers and groups leads and together deliver the results.
• Technical Execution:
• You will be considered an expert in at least one relevant technical area, sought out for reviews and advice by multiple teams and colleagues.
• Your work will also include forecasting and managing project timelines and risks, and setting a sustainable and incremental team pace.
• It means that you will define the technical solutions for important business problems and understand the context in which large company decisions are made.
• Collaboration & Leadership:
• A part of the Staff Engineer's scope is aligning non-adjacent teams and disciplines to resolve unstructured and ambiguous challenges. This extends to coaching other folks across all levels and supporting up-and-coming leaders in the team.
• You will lead the technical direction of their team, and influence the strategic direction and build non-adjacent team relationships.
• Staff Engineers are calibrated to lead all types of engineering interviews, to help guide the understanding of the Deliveroo bar for all lower levels which often requires contribution in other recruiting areas outside of interviewing.

Staff Software Engineer

• Lead the architecture, design, and implementation of resilient, scalable systems across backend, web, and mobile technologies
• Act as a technical expert and hands-on contributor, driving complex, org-wide initiatives from concept to execution
• Collaborate with engineering leaders, product managers, and cross-functional teams to define and deliver high-impact solutions
• Review code, mentor engineers, and elevate technical excellence across the organisation
• Influence and execute strategic engineering direction across multiple domains
• Identify areas for improvement across system performance, reliability, and developer productivity
• Help shape the adoption of modern technologies including Generative AI and Agentic AI frameworks for business-critical applications

• Own the design and execution of regional strategic initiatives to build on Deliveroo's strong market position in Core London
• Work closely with the Regional Director and be a key member of the regional leadership team
• Identify areas to improve customer value proposition on a hyperlocal level, build plans, and execute to achieve improvements

Manager

We are looking for an experienced Reward Manager to join our Reward team. Reporting into the Reward team, you'll benchmark, analyse, design and develop compensation and benefits programmes. You'll work with our leaders, managers, People, and Finance teams to develop cost effective and innovative solutions and implement programmes. You will be based in our HQ office (Cannon Street, London).
Provide guidance and coaching on reward aspects to HR Business Partners, the broader People Team, business leaders, and employees as a trusted expert
Analyse market trends and benchmarks across multiple programmes. Use the analysis to develop effective and engaging proposals for programmes and budgets to ensure we are tracking to market
Play a key part in the compensation review cycles
Lead reward programmes across multiple locations. Managing new and on-going global benefits and compensation programmes
Communicate our Reward programmes to the business in a simple and engaging way, to employees, HR Business Partners and recruitment teams
Conduct deep dive compensation analysis work. Assessing multiple sets of data, understanding the market issues and developing proposals
Work with global HR partners to ensure compensation and benefits programmes are compliant, impactful and successful in all our global locations.
