About the role

  • Work as part of our Catalogue Operations team
  • Generate labelled data for Deliveroo’s Machine Learning and Generative AI models
  • Assign items to our standardised Taxonomy
  • Define the part of meal for an item
  • Label the brand of an item
  • Collaborate with product, machine Learning, and commercial teams to improve accuracy of existing machine learning models
  • Help develop new models to enhance customer and partner experiences

Requirements

  • Experience with spreadsheet software like Google Sheets
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards
  • Basic knowledge of food and retail items sold in Deliveroo markets
  • Ability to understand patterns in data and recognise outliers
  • Fluent in English and comfortable working with item information in other languages from Deliveroo’s markets (leveraging translation tools)
  • Prior experience with data labelling, particularly for item classification (Nice to have)
  • Experience with Looker (Nice to have)
  • Basic understanding of machine learning and/or generative AI (Nice to have)
  • Experience in quality control or assurance processes (QC/QA) (Nice to have)
