About the role
- Del Oro Consulting is seeking an experienced Digital Workplace Solutions Architect to support a major client engagement, with a primary focus on Microsoft technologies.\n
- This role will design and deliver modern workplace solutions, lead client engagements, and ensure successful project outcomes.\n
- The position is remote hybrid and requires occasional travel to client locations in Southern California.\n
- Role Overview: The Solutions Architect will act as a subject matter expert in Digital Workplace design, implementation, and best practices.\n
- Responsibilities include overseeing project delivery, mentoring technical teams, and working directly with client stakeholders, from engineers to executives, to align technical solutions with business goals.\n
- The role also contributes to presales activities, workshops, and solution development.
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience designing Microsoft environments across on-premises and cloud-based services.\n
- Proven expertise with Azure, Intune/Endpoint Manager, Azure AD/Entra, Teams, Power Platform, Purview, and related technologies.\n
- Experience supporting environments with 1,000+ concurrent users.\n
- Knowledge of 3rd-party Microsoft ecosystem tools (Quest, ShareGate, BitTitan).\n
- Strong consulting skills with the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.\n
- Required Certifications Microsoft Certified – Teams Administrator Associate or Endpoint Administrator Associate Microsoft Certified – Information Security Administrator Associate or Information Protection & Compliance Administrator Associate\n
- Preferred Certifications Azure Solutions Architect Expert, M365 Administrator Expert, Azure Administrator Associate, AVD Specialty, or equivalent\n
- Desired Skills Leadership experience managing complex technical projects. Strong written, verbal, and presentation skills; ability to communicate with technical and non-technical audiences.\n
- Experience scoping, estimating, and delivering enterprise Microsoft solutions.\n
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines with minimal oversight.
