About the role
- Oversee successful implementation and data migration of payroll systems for clients
- Lead and manage full payroll implementation process, ensuring accurate data transfer and proper system configuration
- Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders; guide clients through setup and migration
- Organize and run kick-off meetings and maintain project plans
- Support project review calls and manage project streams, scope changes, and delivery schedule
- Define and set up client payroll processes and payroll calendars
- Maintain detailed project documentation, status reports, and process documentation
- Configure interfaces, reports and system settings for parallel and live payroll runs
- Work with clients for go-live sign-off, validation, and reconciliation reports
- Map GL reports if required and act as primary payroll project point of contact
- Develop and execute testing plans and implement change management strategies
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in global payroll implementation and payroll operations
- Strong knowledge of payroll processes and compliance across your designated location
- Experience with payroll systems and software
- Client-facing project management experience and ability to manage multiple projects
- Project management certification (e.g., PMP) is a plus
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field (Master’s preferred)
- Ability to speak, read, and write English fluently
