About the role
- Build Deel’s Reddit strategy from scratch and write the playbook
- Create upvotable content (AMAs, guides, discussion threads, memes, spicy takes, useful answers)
- Represent Deel’s voice in relevant subreddits—transparent, helpful, witty, and non-corporate
- Monitor conversations about Deel and the industry; engage when appropriate
- Track Reddit trends, subreddit culture shifts, and react quickly to in-jokes and formats
- Experiment with post formats (text, visuals, gifs, memes, long-form) and measure performance
- Iterate based on traction and analytics until Deel has a strong, welcome presence on Reddit
Requirements
- Reddit power user; able to show post history
- Proven ability to create posts or grow communities that gained traction
- Deep knowledge of Reddit culture, subreddit norms, and moderation risks
- Ability to switch tone across communities (snark, thoughtful explainer, memes)
- Strategic planning skills to build a long-term Reddit plan
- Scrappy/community-first mindset; able to jump into conversations quickly
- Strong written communication and content-creation skills (text posts, visuals, gifs, memes, long-form)
- English fluency (speak, read, and write) — application asks for confirmation
- Authorization to work in your country of residence (application requires country and work authorization details)
- Bonus: experience running or moderating a subreddit
- Bonus: community management experience (Discord, forums, etc.)
- Bonus: experience at a startup, B2B SaaS, HRTech, or FinTech
