About the role
- Develop, implement, and own Deel’s customer insights and competitive intelligence programs, ensuring insights are actionable, scalable, and continuously updated.
- Lead qualitative and quantitative research to deeply understand customer needs, buying behaviors, objections, and decision drivers across key segments.
- Own competitive research for specific product lines and priority competitors, including positioning, messaging, pricing, packaging, and go-to-market motions.
- Synthesize insights into clear narratives that influence product roadmaps, positioning, and strategic decisions.
- Build automations and repeatable systems to streamline the collection, analysis, and distribution of customer and competitive insights.
- Enable insights through multiple channels such as:
- Internal training sessions and workshops
- Sales and marketing collateral
- Competitive battlecards
- Alerts, dashboards, and newsletters
- Ensure insights are easily discoverable and embedded into day-to-day workflows for Sales, Marketing, Product, and Growth.
- Create compelling sales and marketing collateral grounded in customer and competitive insights.
- Partner closely with Growth and Marketing teams to inform positioning, messaging, and campaigns that differentiate Deel in the market.
- Train and enable Sales teams with competitive and customer insights that improve confidence in competitive deals, address objections effectively, increase win rates and deal velocity.
- Act as a trusted partner to Product, Sales, Marketing, and Growth, ensuring customer and market insights are reflected in strategy and execution.
- Track and measure the impact of insights on GTM performance (e.g., win rates, messaging adoption, sales feedback).
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in Product Marketing, Customer Insights, Market Research, or Competitive Intelligence roles within B2B SaaS.
- Proven ability to conduct high-quality qualitative and quantitative research, with a strong data-driven mindset and the ability to turn insights into clear recommendations.
- Hands-on experience building scalable insight systems, including automations to gather, store, synthesize, and distribute customer and competitive insights.
- Strong experience creating enablement assets and delivering training for Sales and Marketing teams that drive measurable impact (e.g., win rates, adoption).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex insights clearly to both executive and frontline audiences.
- Strong project management skills, able to manage multiple research streams and stakeholders in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
- Experience using competitive intelligence platforms (e.g., Klue), including setting up workflows, alerts, and battlecards.
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams such as Product, Sales, Growth, Marketing, and RevOps.
