About the role

  • Collaborate in a cross-functional team with Frontend Engineers, Product, Designers, and QA
  • Participate in product planning from discovery to deployment across SDLC
  • Develop and enhance robust features and APIs; find and fix bugs quickly
  • Provide an exceptional, customer-centric engineering experience
  • Solve complex fintech problems and build modern resilient financial systems
  • Build at scale: design and evolve APIs, services, and infrastructure to support high transaction volumes

Requirements

  • Professional experience in fintech or financial domains (payments, accounting, exchanges, banking, or crypto)
  • Worked in or built systems for other financial-focused companies
  • Familiarity with compliance-sensitive environments: KYC, AML, transaction monitoring, regulatory reporting
  • Proficiency in Node.js and TypeScript/JavaScript; additional backend language is a plus
  • Strong SQL foundation (PostgreSQL or similar): complex queries, data migrations, data model design
  • Good understanding of OOP and common design patterns
  • Hands-on API development experience: RESTful APIs, input validation, JWT or similar authentication, queue-based async processing
  • Performance-aware: concurrency, idempotency, writing scalable code
  • Team contributor with 3+ years of experience as a backend or full-stack engineer, product-focused or startup environment
