About the role
- Assist in the preparation of financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements
- Record and reconcile daily transactions, including accounts payable and accounts receivable entries
- Participate in month-end and year-end closing processes, including preparing journal entries and reconciling accounts
- Perform bank reconciliations and ensure accuracy of financial data
- Assist in maintaining accurate and up-to-date accounting records
- Assist with inventory management and valuation
- Support the Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable functions as needed
- Financial analysis and reporting as required
- Contribute to process improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and effectiveness of financial operations
- Adhere to company policies and procedures, as well as accounting principles and regulations
- Reports to Controller
Requirements
- Associate or Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance
- 3-5 years of experience in Accounting or Finance
- Prior accounting experience is a plus
- Experience with NetSuite is a plus
