About the role

  • We are looking for a Jr. Release Engineer to support our portfolio of mobile games for ATA specifically and be responsible for planning, coordinating, validating, and executing client builds and asset patches to support smooth, timely, and high-quality releases. You will be the central point of coordination between engineering, product, and design teams, ensuring all stakeholders are aligned on release schedules, scope, and quality expectation.
  • Responsibilities Review and assess client build requests to ensure completeness and adherence to internal standards. Collaborate with members of the engineering organization to prioritize build requests and align on release schedules. Coordinate with product managers, designers, and engineers to communicate release content and timelines. Maintain a forward-looking release calendar to ensure stakeholders have visibility on upcoming deliverables. Operate internal tools to generate client builds and asset patches for release. Conduct QA testing on builds and patches to identify and resolve bugs before release. Troubleshoot build-related issues and escalate to engineering when necessary. Validate that release processes are followed consistently and accurately. Maintain clear, accessible documentation for all release procedures. Recommend and implement improvements to release workflows and tooling. Track and report release metrics, identifying opportunities for efficiency gains.

Requirements

  • 1-2 years of experience in a similar field (software development or IT), a big plus if it was in mobile gaming! Hands-on experience with quality assurance processes and game testing Familiarity with Unity build tools and related release processes. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple releases simultaneously. Excellent communication skills for cross-functional coordination. Attention to detail and a proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues.
