• Handling customer enquiries efficiently and effectively, answering any questions and queries via live chat, email, telephone (inbound and outbound)

• Take full ownership of the growth pipeline across the Americas, from prospecting and outreach to qualification, proposal and close
• Lead networking and outbound efforts; convert marketing-qualified leads into high-value opportunities
• Collaborate with Group BD Director, Marketing Manager, Client Services and Delivery teams to win work from target clients
• Identify and direct new business opportunities aligned to Fifth Ring’s offer and target industries
• Embody consultative selling and achieve Trusted Advisor status with contacts
• Be highly visible online and in person in Houston to position Fifth Ring as marketing communications consultants of choice
• Immerse in and speak knowledgably about target industries to understand trends, threats and opportunities
• Lead exploratory calls with marketing qualified leads to establish core challenges and propose Fifth Ring solutions
• Work with subject matter experts to deliver effective briefs and construct compelling proposals demonstrating impact
• Respond to appropriate tenders and attend local and regional networking sessions and events

Business Development Director

Growth Marketing

• Manage digital marketing campaigns across DC Thomson magazine brands (The People’s Friend, My Weekly, The Scots Magazine).
• Deliver growth through paid search and paid social and broaden activity across additional channels where appropriate.
• Optimise performance to target CPAs, maximise conversions and identify opportunities for growth while managing budgets.
• Lead use of Google Ads (Search, Display, Shopping) and Meta Ads Manager; manage audiences and retargeting.
• Be a lead user of Google Merchant Centre and ensure product feeds are complete and optimised.
• Develop campaigns utilising in-house ad slots on owned sites; plan assets and liaise with internal teams and book ads where necessary.
• Ensure all marketing activity is tracked; use Google Analytics, Looker Studio and Microsoft Excel for analysis and reporting.
• Track spend, provide detailed reporting and follow finance team processes to meet financial targets.
• Brief creative to designers; manage, deploy and test assets to maximise marketing impact.
• Write copy for ads and content, adhere to SEO best practice and ensure accuracy and creativity.
• Integrate audience management tools (HubSpot) to improve targeting and acquisition campaigns.
• Report to Growth Marketing Manager and work within the Growth Marketing Team as a centre of excellence/internal agency-style resource.

Growth Marketing Specialist

Communications

• Reporting directly to the Head of Marketing for Beano Studios, the B2B Marketing and Communications Manager will set and deliver the annual strategic marketing plan for our B2B services, with a focus on our insight agency, Beano Brain. Taking the lead in telling our B2B stories across channels, the B2B Marketing and Communications Manager will work closely with our commercial teams to drive awareness and consideration of our B2B services to deliver new business and deepen relationships and engagement with our client roster.
• What you’ll deliver:
• Use customer insight, data and analysis to develop a clear commercial marketing strategy accelerating growth
• Lead our PR and thought leadership marketing efforts to drive brand awareness of our B2B services and agencies, whilst strengthening their parent brands
• Oversee PR and marketing budgets and optimise spend in line with commercial goals
• Alongside the commercial teams, identify and define key target markets and develop bespoke content to drive new business leads
• Influence the development of new products or enhancements for our B2B agencies and services and own marketing strategies to take these to market in a creative and impactful way
• Create and implement metrics designed to demonstrate and measure the value and impact that the B2B marketing strategy and plans have on commercial growth
