About the role
- Develop, edit, and maintain technical documentation such as user guides, API documentation, FAQs, and product knowledge bases.
- Collaborate with developers, product managers, and QA teams to understand technical concepts and help translate them into clear, user-friendly documentation.
- Support the creation of step-by-step tutorials, system architecture diagrams, and other visual aids to enhance learning.
- Help maintain document version control and ensure documentation is updated in line with product releases.
- Learn and use documentation tools such as Confluence, MadCap Flare, RoboHelp, or Markdown to manage content effectively.
- Contribute to the design and delivery of technical training programs for internal teams, customers, and partners.
- Assist in conducting live and virtual training sessions on software applications, IT tools, and best practices.
- Develop training materials, presentations, video tutorials, and e-learning modules under guidance.
- Gather feedback from trainees and adjust training methods for better engagement.
- Stay updated on industry trends and explore new training techniques to improve learning outcomes.
- Support product development teams by identifying documentation gaps and suggesting enhancements.
- Help track progress in Agile development cycles and contribute to team discussions.
Requirements
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Technical Communication, or a related field.
- Strong interest or prior coursework in technical writing, training, or software development.
- Familiarity with documentation tools such as MS Word, Confluence, MadCap Flare, RoboHelp, Git, and Markdown.
- Exposure to Learning Management Systems (LMS) and training tools such as Articulate, Captivate, or Camtasia is an asset.
- Excellent writing, communication, and presentation skills.
- Ability to simplify complex technical concepts for different audiences.
- Team-oriented mindset with eagerness to learn and contribute.
- Certifications in Technical Writing, Instructional Design, or Business Analysis are a plus but not required.
- Familiarity with CRMs and ERPs like Salesforce, Dynamics 365, or NetSuite is preferred but not mandatory.
