About the role
- Oversee select SME Manager teams or projects within the National Biomedical Services team
- Recommend, develop, implement, administer and optimize technical systems and processes
- Develop and maintain partnerships with technical vendors and inter-departmental partners
- Participate and provide resources for technical education efforts and oversee plans of correction for technical quality issues
- Partner with Director on hiring, promoting, evaluations, development, and corrective action processes for Managers/teammates
- Partner with field biomedical leadership to serve as a mentor or SME guide for biomed growth and development
- Participate in budget formulation, drive outcomes for assigned technical initiatives, and evaluate/execute staffing to align with Village needs
- Manage Village-wide rapport with key Village stakeholders and address concerns; conduct reviews and present findings to senior leadership
- Oversee management of required equipment and supplies necessary to provide support within area of expertise
- Ensure compliance with all DaVita policies, audits, corrective actions, training and programs in accordance with State and Federal requirements; assist with creation and implementation of corrective actions as needed (Medicare, OSHA or other agencies)
Requirements
- Oversight of select SME Manager teams or projects within the National Biomedical Services team (implied managerial/SME experience)
- Experience with technical systems and process development, implementation, validation, and optimization
- Ability to develop and maintain partnerships with technical vendors and inter-departmental partners
- Participate and provide resource for technical education efforts
- Ability to oversee plans of correction for technical quality issues
- Experience with financial management, staffing evaluation & execution, and project management
- Knowledge of compliance & risk management and relevant regulations (Medicare, OSHA, State and Federal requirements)
- Ability to undergo pre-employment substance abuse testing and background verification checks
