About the role
- Perform revenue cycle duties including processing patient insurance information through the patient intake process
- Communicate with insurance payers to ensure proper insurance coverage for patients or ensure timely and accurate reimbursement
- Communicate with patients and advocate on their behalf to help resolve disputes
- Collaborate with revenue operations teams and clinics to ensure timely and accurate insurance information
- Maintain current patient account information and confidentiality according to HIPAA regulations
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Bilingual in Spanish
- Basic computer skills and proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and Outlook
