About the role
- Serve as a vital member of DaVita’s Payor Contracting team
- Process initial credentialing, re-credentialing, and obtain in network confirmations
- Build and maintain strong partnerships with payors
- Document workflow actions in appropriate systems and databases
- Provide workflow status updates to key stakeholders
- Complete credentialing applications and assemble documentation as required by payors
- Obtain network participation status from payors
- Complete regular audits of workflow to ensure high levels of accuracy
- Oversee initial and complex credentialing requirements discussions with entities and agencies
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred
- Minimum of six (6) months’ administrative or clerical business office experience required
- Minimum of six (6) months’ experience in licensing, healthcare, or insurance preferred
- Proven ability to “get stuff done” and build strong professional relationships with internal teams and external payor partners
- Innovative and flexible thinker with strong organizational skills and the ability to organize, prioritize and coordinate multiple activities and a large workload
- Attention to detail and the ability to complete a high volume of tasks accurately, within set SLA timelines and with minimal supervision
- Ability to think critically, analyze and solve problems
- Demonstrated willingness to learn new skills and adapt to change
- Remains calm and effective in high pressure and urgent situations
- Ability to manage confidential information and/or issues using discretion and judgment
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
