About the role
- Audit & Quality Control of medical records
- Conduct audits to verify SOP adherence
- Recommend process enhancements for efficiency
- Monitor compliance with HIPAA and client-specific SLAs
- Provide feedback and training support to team members
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years in Release of Information (ROI) or health information operations
- 1+ years in quality assurance or auditing
- High school diploma required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Health Information Management or related field strongly preferred
- In-depth understanding of HIPAA, PHI handling standards
- Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems and Microsoft Office
- Strong attention to detail
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
