About the role
- Report to the VP, Client Impact and oversee special initiatives within the Strategy and Business Operations portfolio.
- Manage implementation programs end-to-end, ensuring projects are on time, high quality, and deliver measurable business value.
- Collaborate with Datavant business units, IT teams, and external vendors to coordinate multiple concurrent initiatives.
- Provide program oversight for project managers, ensuring methodologies are followed and deliverables meet standards.
- Partner with operations and new customers to implement solutions that strengthen retention, loyalty, and profitability.
- Monitor project health, escalate risks, and support post-go-live issue resolution to ensure sustained success.
- Conduct regular updates and staff meetings to maintain visibility and accountability across initiatives.
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience in customer service, service delivery, or project/program management, with proven success managing multiple initiatives at once.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent healthcare experience).
- PMP certification highly preferred.
- Strong problem-solving, negotiation, and influence skills with the ability to drive accountability across teams.
- Proven ability to maintain roadmaps and portfolios, with strong analytical and organizational skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication, including presentation and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience in healthcare operations and/or health information management preferred.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools and MS Project.
