About the role

  • Datarails is the financial planning and analysis platform that automates data consolidation, reporting and planning, while enabling finance teams to continue using their own Excel spreadsheets and financial models.
  • Datarails integrates with the most popular accounting software, ERPs and CRMs so all your data can be consolidated.
  • Reduce risk, make informed decisions, and ensure stakeholders have the most reliable data at their fingertips.
  • Transform your Excel into a lean, mean, FP&A machine.
  • Join our dynamic team as a PreSales FP&A Solutions Consultant and play a pivotal role in driving the future of FP&A!
  • Are you ready to showcase your skills to CFOs and revolutionize finance?
  • Love Microsoft Excel (we do, too!)? This is an opportunity to apply your expertise and transform FP&A from a task-centric function to a value-added powerhouse.
  • This is a 100% remote, full-time (~40 hours/week) position open to candidates in the UK and Germany.
  • The work schedule will require some overlap with US Eastern time, but we are flexible and will work with you to determine a specific schedule.

Requirements

  • 5-8+ years of progressive experience in accounting/finance, FP&A, or relevant sales engineering roles.
  • Strong grasp of financial applications, including budgeting, planning, forecasting, month-end close, financial reporting, and consolidation platforms + intermediate to advanced Excel skills
  • Ability to gather and understand potential customers' requirements, using a consultative approach to effectively demonstrate how Datarails meets their needs.
  • Excellent presentation skills, with the ability to communicate complex concepts effectively and clearly.
  • Strong business acumen, collaborative skill set, and a team-oriented everyone-wins attitude.
  • Understanding of budgeting, forecasting, and reporting processes across multiple industries such as manufacturing, services, banking, insurance, etc., a plus
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Business/Finance, a plus.
