About the role
- Engage in deep dives with CFOs and finance teams to understand FP&A business requirements and internal processes
- Customize customers' Datarails experience and ask the right questions to uncover needs
- Conduct captivating product demos and deep dives with finance teams, identifying pain points and complementary solutions
- Collaborate with internal teams to develop Proof of Concepts (POCs) that showcase capabilities and value
- Partner closely with the sales team to evaluate and assist in sales strategies and provide solution recommendations
- Leverage in-depth understanding of competitive products and technologies to position Datarails effectively in sales presentations
- Assist in the development of proposals and responses to RFI and RFP documents
Requirements
- 5-8+ years of progressive experience in accounting/finance, FP&A, or relevant sales engineering roles in the finance industry
- Strong grasp of financial applications, including budgeting, planning, forecasting, month-end close, financial reporting, and consolidation platforms
- Intermediate to advanced Excel skills
- Ability to gather and understand potential customers' requirements using a consultative approach
- Excellent presentation skills, with the ability to communicate complex concepts effectively and clearly
- Strong business acumen, collaborative skill set, and a team-oriented everyone-wins attitude
- Understanding of budgeting, forecasting, and reporting processes across multiple industries such as manufacturing, services, banking, insurance, etc. (a plus)
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Business/Finance (a plus)
