About the role
- Translate users' requirements with preferably non-intrusive programming
- Implement, customize and maintain QAD-related functionality with standard QAD or justified customizations
- Contribute towards project success by implementing, customizing and maintaining QAD functionality
- Work closely with functional leaders at operational level and other teams
- Collaborate with QAD and/or other areas/teams and coordinate technical efforts
- Train, guide, mentor junior team members and onboard them
- Contribute to business process change or optimization
- Ensure quality and documentation around projects handed over to support
Requirements
- 9+ years overall experience
- Minimum 8 years programming and development on QAD (and Mfg/Pro)
- Hands-on experience with non-intrusive programming (ICT)
- Knowledge of EDI, Qxtend, Excelerator, QRF, Maintenance, Inquiry, Browse
- Minimum 3 years experience leading, mentoring, guiding a team
- Exposure to integration projects
- Broad QAD knowledge (Supply chain, Sales & Distribution, Finance)
- Hands-on experience with QAD Enterprise Edition (QAD EE)
- Hands-on QAD EE development using tools like QRF
- Good product knowledge to configure/setup for business needs
- Analytical problem-solving approach
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Experience in healthcare domain or Supply Chain business
- Pro-active attitude and proposing improvements
- Ability to work independently on multiple assignments simultaneously
- Ability to collaborate and coordinate with QAD development and technical teams
- Basic Progress OpenEdge programming skills
- Experience with Scrum or Agile methodologies
