About the role
- Analyze Requirements, define and design test scenarios, write, and execute test cases.
- Run newly built solutions to ensure they are working as expected.
- Work with deployment teams to deploy solutions from one environment to another.
- Run regression on solutions.
- Create a list of milestones and checkpoints and set measurable criteria to check for quality on a timely basis.
- Work with a team of colleagues from multiple geographic regions to deliver these new solutions which will change how we manage complex and unstructured data.
- Participate with the team to develop user stories, bugs, and tasks.
- Contribute and adhere to QA best practices.
Requirements
- 4+ year experience as QA engineer
- Degree in MIS or CS
- Proficient with software development lifecycle (SDLC) methodologies like Agile, Test-driven development
- Experience with Azure DevOps or similar tool such as Github, Jira etc.
- Experience with automation tools such as one of the following or similar: WDIO, Café, BrowserStack, Selenium.
- Thorough understanding of test principals such as unit, smoke, functional, user acceptance and usability testing.
