Negotiate a broad range of vendor agreements, including but not limited to SaaS, marketing, facilities, contractors, events, and sponsorships
Work closely with internal operational and legal teammates to streamline procurement contracting workflows to reduce cycle time and increase stakeholder satisfaction
Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including other practice areas within the Databricks legal department, on special projects related to the needs of a range of business units
Serve as a trusted advisor to internal teams, resolving complex vendor challenges into practical business solutions
Help provide program management support to frame, track, and report on the progress of key initiatives
Report to the Senior Managing Counsel, GTM & Partners
Requirements
5-7 years of relevant experience, including ideally at least 3 years in-house (preferably at a high-growth company with significant technology needs)
Experienced with contract drafting and negotiation across a range of vendor agreements (i.e., SaaS, software, hardware, professional services, data subscriptions, facilities, marketing)
Familiarity with negotiating data protection/privacy and security principles
Excellent verbal and written communication, analytical, collaboration, and interpersonal skills
Motivated self-starter who is able to multitask and prioritise effectively in a dynamic environment
Effective contributor when collaborating with internal cross-functional stakeholders on ongoing projects
Critical thinker, comfortable speaking up and brainstorming productively, identifying future needs/issues while executing on current activities
Pragmatic in making recommendations in a fast-paced environment and applying a practical, balanced mindset to legal problem-solving
