About the role
- Lead, coach, and develop regional sales teams focused on Energy and Electrification verticals (Data Centers, Electrification, Marine, H₂ & Power-to-X, Energy Storage Systems, Ultra High Power Charging)
- Target own strategic accounts while leading a high-performing sales team
- Build the North American vertical strategy in alignment with the Division's global strategy and ensure regional execution and business impact
- Strengthen Danfoss’ position with Data Center & Energy Management OEMs, system integrators, and project developers
- Provide strategic sales support and coaching to ensure the team can articulate and deliver value-driven solutions
- Act as a senior representative of Danfoss in industry events, trade shows, and customer forums to enhance visibility and influence
- Champion energy-efficient, sustainable solutions and build trusted partnerships with key customers and stakeholders
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field
- Master’s degree is a plus
- 7+ years of experience in sales, business development, or leadership roles in the data center, energy management, or related industries
- Proven leadership experience in building and guiding successful sales teams
- Deep understanding of drives, electrification systems, energy storage, and power conversion technologies
- Strong commercial and technical acumen with a passion for sustainability and innovation
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and stakeholder management skills
- Willingness to travel up to 70% within the region and globally as required
