About the role
- Deliver first class and professional technical applications support and training
- Perform demonstrations of Leica Biosystems instruments and reagents
- Support promotion and sales of the LBS product portfolio
- Ensure Leica Biosystems’ solutions have maximum uptime
- Assist customers with assay optimisation, validation and verification
- Support Account Manager in customer meetings and work closely with entire local team
- Support at Trade Shows and Conferences.
Requirements
- BA/BSc in Biomedical Science, Life Science or equivalent field
- Minimum: Multiple years’ strong experience in all areas of Histology.
- Detailed practical knowledge of primary/special staining, tissue processing, sectioning and immunohistochemistry techniques.
- Experience with optimisation, functionality and support of manual and automated histology methods, instruments and reagents.
- Strong communication skills and commercial awareness.
- Self-directed with ability to operate in a matrix organization, collaborate without direct influence with peers.
