About the role
- Ensures Occupational Health & Safety performance through the development, implementation, management and collaboration of health and safety programs across US and international sites
- Drives critical occupational health & safety programs such as Injury/Illness Reporting & Investigation, Hazard Communication, Respiratory Protection, Control of Hazardous Energy, Chemical Handling & Storage, Biological Safety, Fire Prevention, Ergonomics, etc. to reduce risks and company costs
- Identifies, prioritizes, mitigates, and communicates health & safety compliance risks to the organization
- Assess and improve safety performance sites assessments and driving continuous improvement by establishing performance targets, data analysis and reporting
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science, or related field
- 3 to 5 years of experience in health and safety program management
- Knowledge of regulatory requirements and safety frameworks
- Strong analytical and project management skills
- Strong leadership and excellent communication skills
