💰 $95,000 - $125,000 per year

About the role

  • Responsible for the strategic and tactical management of select academic and biopharma accounts
  • Focus on building and maintaining existing relationships and generating new business opportunities
  • Proactively make outbound calls, schedule customer visits, and nurture leads from marketing through to opportunities
  • Develop and execute account plans that build effective alliances and maximize share of wallet across Abcam’s portfolio
  • Provide regular sales forecasts to management regarding activities aligned with revenue goals

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in life science or related discipline
  • Field sales account management experience in life sciences
  • Ability to speak to antibody-based applications, proteomics, reagents and similar protein based solutions
  • Proven ability to build and manage relationships with scientific end-users and decision-makers
  • Experience in account management or technical support within life sciences
  • Exceptional communication skills
  • Strong organizational and project management abilities
  • Ability to travel as required (50%-75%) and a valid driver's license
