About the role

  • Lead and develop a high-performing team of Field Application Scientists
  • Implement standard processes and foster a customer-first mindset
  • Maintain a strong field presence by meeting customers and providing advanced technical consultation
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Marketing, Product Management, and R&D
  • Drive innovation and thought leadership in NGS, CRISPR, Synthetic Biology, and qPCR/dPCR

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences (Biology preferred)
  • Minimum of 3 years (5 years preferred) of management and mentorship experience
  • Experience translating complex scientific needs into tailored product solutions
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in NGS
  • Must have a valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record
  • Previous experience in CRISPR, Synthetic Biology, qPCR or dPCR field preferred
  • Master or PhD in a Life Science field preferred
  • Familiarity with IDT’s portfolio including CRISPR, NGS, Synthetic biology, qPCR / dPCR and Custom oligo
