About the role

  • Strategically develops complex systems, interconnects cross-functional to and transforms data into valuable information used to make sound business decisions
  • Works closely but not limited to Cost Engineering, Project Controlling, IT, Purchasing, Engineering and the Global Cost Engineering network
  • Leading global Cost Engineering (CE) digitalization group to share information
  • Educating/training other employees to utilize new analytical tools, display information for analysis
  • Be the central point of contact for BI related processes and questions related to data provision direction on data governance
  • Analyze large quantities of data and develops means for reporting on the overall performance of business segments
  • Develop metrics to measure various characteristics of the business
  • Model advanced methods of combining charts, maps, timelines and infographics into comprehensible dashboards

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Accounting, Finance, Information Technology, Computer Science or related
  • 2 years of experience in a related field
  • Experience with Cost Engineering and Project Controlling process & deliverables
  • Experience with business intelligence processes and tools, such as PowerBI, Tableau, Alteryx, PowerApps, database connections, and SQL
  • Experience with database management systems, online analytical processing (OLAP) and ETL framework
  • Experience with Reference Engineering Calculation, Commercial Vehicle Development System (CVDS) Process, Series Referencing, TRaCE, SPEAR, Engineering Change Request, Comet +, ProQ, IMS & WBV
  • Alternative Requirements: 8 years of experience in a related field
