About the role
- Manage and develop relationships with a portfolio of key truck fleet customers
- Maximise vehicle uptime, customer satisfaction and growth of genuine OEM parts and service solutions
- Strengthen customer relationships and identify commercial opportunities
- Ensure customers receive an exceptional aftersales experience aligned with the Daimler Truck brand
- Act as primary contact for customer service and parts support
- Develop and deliver structured account engagement strategies
- Maintain complete and transparent records of all fleet customer interactions
- Identify and prioritise opportunities that drive parts sales
- Develop business development plans for key accounts
- Support resolution of operational and technical issues for key accounts
Requirements
- Strong commercial awareness
- Industry expertise in HGV aftersales industry
- Ability to build trusted relationships with customers and retailer partners
- Strong knowledge of retailer operations
- Experience in sales, account management, or aftersales within the commercial vehicle sector
- Understanding of truck service, maintenance requirements, and commercial fleet practices
- Excellent negotiation, influencing, and stakeholder management skills
- Ideally degree qualified or equivalent experience in a commercial or business discipline
- Full and clean UK driving licence
