About the role

  • Manage and develop relationships with a portfolio of key truck fleet customers
  • Maximise vehicle uptime, customer satisfaction and growth of genuine OEM parts and service solutions
  • Strengthen customer relationships and identify commercial opportunities
  • Ensure customers receive an exceptional aftersales experience aligned with the Daimler Truck brand
  • Act as primary contact for customer service and parts support
  • Develop and deliver structured account engagement strategies
  • Maintain complete and transparent records of all fleet customer interactions
  • Identify and prioritise opportunities that drive parts sales
  • Develop business development plans for key accounts
  • Support resolution of operational and technical issues for key accounts

Requirements

  • Strong commercial awareness
  • Industry expertise in HGV aftersales industry
  • Ability to build trusted relationships with customers and retailer partners
  • Strong knowledge of retailer operations
  • Experience in sales, account management, or aftersales within the commercial vehicle sector
  • Understanding of truck service, maintenance requirements, and commercial fleet practices
  • Excellent negotiation, influencing, and stakeholder management skills
  • Ideally degree qualified or equivalent experience in a commercial or business discipline
  • Full and clean UK driving licence
