About the role
- Draft and prepare legal contracts using established templates
- Review documents for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with company standards
- Coordinate with legal counsel when non-standard terms arise
- Manage the signature process, ensuring timely execution across parties
- Organize and file completed contracts in the company data room
- Maintain a clear, searchable archive of all contract documentation
- Update contract statuses, key dates, and relevant details in HubSpot
- Ensure franchise and contract records remain accurate and accessible to stakeholders
- Track contractual obligations and flag upcoming deadlines or renewals
- Escalate potential compliance concerns to legal for review
- Partner with finance, sales, and operations teams to support contract-related needs
- Provide guidance to colleagues on contract processes and answer status inquiries
- Identify opportunities to streamline workflows and reduce turnaround times
- Stay informed on best practices in contract administration
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Legal Studies, or related field, or equivalent professional experience
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple contracts simultaneously
- Proficiency with standard business software; comfort learning new systems quickly
- Clear written and verbal communication skills
- Self-directed work style suited to a remote environment
- 1-3 years of experience in contract administration, legal support, or a related role (preferred)
- Familiarity with HubSpot or similar CRM platforms (preferred)
- Experience with document management systems or data rooms (preferred)
- Basic understanding of legal terminology and contract structures (preferred)
- Paralegal certification (preferred)
