About the role
- Prospect for potential customers through various methods
- Conduct product demonstrations, present technical information, and prepare sales proposals
- Establish new and maintain existing relationships with variety of customers
- Monitor market and competitor activities and adjust to a changing environment
- Negotiate and close sales
- Provide technical support
Requirements
- 2-3 years in the wholesale electrical industry experience expected
- 5 or more years’ extensive industry knowledge preferred
- great customer service and communication skills
- able to develop and maintain strong relationships to generate and grow sales
- possess knowledge of product lines and pricing
- two-year degree from a technical college; four-year degree preferred or equivalent progressive experience in relevant field
- ability to read blueprints
- in-depth understanding of the construction business
