About the role
- Manage a portfolio of complex accounts and drive sales growth through proactive engagement
- Upsell and cross-sell electrical products and value-added services
- Develop strategic sales plans to meet or exceed company targets
- Collaborate with outside sales and marketing teams to align goals and strategies
- Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships
- Conduct needs assessments and present tailored solutions
- Handle customer inquiries, process orders, and ensure timely delivery
- Stay informed on industry trends, competitive pricing, and product innovations
- Report on customer feedback and market insights to management
- Mentor junior sales staff and support team development
- Lead initiatives to improve sales processes and customer satisfaction
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, or related field (preferred)
- Minimum 4–5 years of experience in inside sales, preferably in electrical distribution or construction
- Strong knowledge of sales administration and CRM systems
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and sales software tools
- Experience handling complex accounts and closing high-value deals
- CRM software proficiency (e.g., Salesforce)
- Lead generation and pipeline management
- Time management and multitasking
- Technical understanding of electrical products
