Billing Specialist

• Generate and distribute accurate invoices to clients in a timely manner.
• Ensure invoices comply with contract terms, pricing agreements, and regulatory requirements.
• Address any client inquiries or discrepancies related to invoicing promptly and professionally.
• Process vendor invoices and expense reports efficiently and accurately.
• Research open purchase orders at month end to ensure vendor bills and client invoices have been completed or move to a future month.
• Access vendor portals related to capture and record SAAS quantities and expense and record properly and accurately.
• Communicate effectively with vendors to resolve any billing discrepancies or issues.
• Assist with month-end and year-end financial close processes.
• Support audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations.
• Assist in analyzing financial data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement.
• Participate in budgeting and forecasting activities as required.
• Identify opportunities to streamline accounting processes and improve efficiency.
• Implement best practices and standards to ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement initiatives.

Security Operations

• Lead deep-dive investigations across SIEM/EDR, cloud, and network telemetry; build timelines and determine scope and impact
• Perform advanced analysis of endpoint activity, authentication/identity events, email telemetry, and network artifacts to identify attacker TTPs
• Drive case direction by forming and testing hypotheses; identify containment and remediation actions with clear rationale
• Provide clear, actionable technical updates and risk-based recommendations to technical and nontechnical audiences
• Conduct root cause analysis and contribute to post-incident reviews; ensure corrective actions and detection improvements are tracked to completion
• Develop and maintain detection content (KQL/SPL/Sigma) and associated response playbooks; validate efficacy through testing and tuning
• Perform proactive threat hunting using known IOCs, behavioral analytics, and threat intelligence; document hunt hypotheses and outcomes
• Design or request SOAR/automation improvements to reduce time-to-triage and improve consistency (enrichment, containment workflows, reporting)
• Mentor and coach SOC Analysts; provide structured feedback on investigations, ticket quality, and incident handling
• Establish and reinforce documentation standards, severity classification consistency, and investigation methodologies
• Deliver high-quality incident reports including executive summaries, technical details, and prioritized remediation recommendations (as assigned)

• Serve as an outsourced security leader, providing strategic and tactical guidance to clients on all aspects of information security.
• Focus on developing, implementing, and managing security programs tailored to meet the specific needs of each client.
• Assess risks, create security strategies, ensure regulatory compliance, and lead incident response activities when necessary.
• Advise clients on the development of security policies, procedures, and governance structures.
• Conduct risk and vulnerability assessments to identify potential threats and recommend appropriate mitigations.
• Guide clients through security audits, certifications, and third-party risk management processes.
• Act as the trusted advisor for multiple clients, managing long-term relationships and ensuring that security strategies align with evolving needs.
