About the role
- Support expense management business functions for Medical Policy and Program Solutions (MPPS) and/or Strategic Clinical Business Operations (SCBO)
- Support vendor and staffing expenses: forecasting; monthly results and variance analysis; quality/contractual service level performance and optimization
- Provide analysis and support to business partners and prioritize ad hoc requests across MPPS/SCBO
- Establish processes and infrastructure to capture and house data from relevant sources
- Ensure data consistency across vendors and create accurate, timely department reporting
- Own monthly financial reporting including preparation of month-end result reporting and variance analysis
- Ensure accuracy and documentation of budgeting and forecasting processes
- Compile month-end executive deck and commentary
- Build strong relationships with business partners and colleagues
- Support ad hoc projects
Requirements
- 3+ years of vendor management, finance and forecasting experience
- Ability to partner well across large enterprises
- Ability to effectively communicate – oral and written, across many levels of the organization including senior management
- Extensive knowledge of Excel, PowerPoint and Procurement tools & processes (Purchase Orders, Ariba etc.)
- Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail
- Proven ability to perform with a high degree of accuracy under tight deadlines and to manage multiple projects
- Bachelor's Degree with concentration in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field OR equivalent experience (3+ years' experience and High School Diploma/GED)
- Experience with budgeting, forecasting, month-end reporting
