About the role

  • Delivers specific delegated Accounting/Financial Reporting tasks assigned by a supervisor
  • Assigns transaction codes to documents and assures documents are included in appropriate accounting period
  • Posts, balances, and closes subsidiary ledgers
  • Posts daily payments, applies credits/debit memos/adjustments/write offs and processes EFT/ACH/Credit Card/wire payments
  • Researches unidentified/unapplied payments and misapplied cash and matches remittance detail
  • Prepares accounts receivable reconciliations and assists with customer invoice requests
  • Monitors Accounts Receivables email inbox and assists with monthly statements
  • Completes month-end closing posting by first day of next fiscal month

Requirements

  • Current Express Scripts or Cigna Contractor
  • High School diploma or general education degree (GED) required
  • 1+ years of cash applications experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Proficient with Microsoft office and Windows applications
  • SAP experience preferred
  • Attention to detail required
