About the role
- We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Sr. Workday Reporting Analyst with hands-on experience in Workday reporting. This role will be responsible for overseeing the development, execution, and continuous improvement of HR reports and dashboards within Workday. In addition, the role will manage projects related to reporting initiatives and collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless execution of key HR technology projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of Workday reporting tools, an ability to translate business needs into actionable reports, and experience managing medium-sized projects, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with business objectives.
Key Responsibilities :
Workday Reporting : Develop and maintain standard, custom, and advanced Workday reports, including dashboards, scorecards, and scheduled reports. Collaborate with HR and business stakeholders to gather reporting requirements and provide insights through data analysis and visualizations. Ensure the integrity and accuracy of HR data within Workday reports. Conduct regular audits to ensure data accuracy, security, and compliance with organizational standards.
Project Management : Lead and manage HR technology and reporting-related projects from inception to completion, ensuring alignment with timelines, budgets, and business goals. Coordinate cross-functional teams to ensure the successful implementation of reporting enhancements, data migrations, and system upgrades. Track project deliverables, create project documentation, and regularly report progress to stakeholders.
Stakeholder Collaboration : Act as the point of contact between HR, IT, and other business units for reporting requests and project-related needs. Provide training and support to HR teams and business users on how to effectively use Workday reporting tools and interpret data.
Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities to optimize existing Workday reports and streamline reporting processes. Stay updated on new Workday features, releases, and best practices related to reporting and project management. Recommend and implement improvements to reporting methodologies, data visualization techniques, and user experience.
Requirements
- 3+ years' experience with Workday reporting (e.g., creating, editing, and optimizing Workday reports, including composite and matrix reports).
3+ years' experience managing HR technology projects or reporting-related projects with cross-functional teams.
3+ years' experience working with HR data and reporting requirements.
3+ years' experience with project management methodologies and tools (e.g., Agile, Waterfall, Jira, or MS Project).
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with a focus on data-driven decision-making.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to manage relationships with stakeholders at various levels.
Ability to multitask and manage multiple projects or reporting requests in a fast-paced environment.
Experience in data visualization and reporting tools, such as Power BI or Tableau.
Workday certification in Reporting, HCM, or Project Management.
Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
