A Sr. Analyst, Project Management (IC) role, reporting to the AVP of Medical and Pre-Payment Policy combines high-level project management with detailed administrative and operational tasks.
Lead and manage key strategic projects related to implementation of new regulatory rules, new large-payment programs and/or scoreable action items from conception to implementation.
Conducts routine collaboration with stakeholders to define project objectives, requirements, and deliverables, ensuring alignment with business goals.
Drafts correspondence, presentations, and reports, ensuring all messaging is consistent and aligned with the overall strategy supporting the Medical Pre-Payment Policy Solutions (MPPS).
Use a centralized platform to track policy initiatives, monitor progress, and provide regular reports to the AVP and other executives on key performance indicators and outcome.
Plan and facilitate meetings, including creating agendas, preparing presentation materials, documenting meeting minutes, and tracking action items.
Serve as the primary point of contact and liaison between the AVP and key internal and external stakeholders, including clinical teams, legal and compliance departments, and external partners.
Manage the AVP's complex calendar, including scheduling meetings, coordinating travel, and prioritizing appointments to optimize their time and focus.
Takes ownership of special projects or ad-hoc assignments that fall outside the purview of existing teams, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget.
Conducts project post-mortems to capture and apply lessons learned to identify areas for improvement and shares process enhancements to optimize project management practices.
Prepares and delivers project progress reports highlighting achievements, risks, and mitigation strategies.
Administers leadership and guidance to project teams, fostering a culture of teamwork, accountability, and high performance.
Installs project management best practices, methodologies, and tools to drive efficiency and effectiveness in project execution.
Requirements
5+ years of progressive experience in health plan clinical operations with a focus on medical and pre-payment policies
Familiarity with medical terminology, healthcare policy, and governance is essential.
An understanding of the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) or other regulatory bodies is a significant asset.
Exceptional organizational, communication, and time-management skills are critical.
The ability to handle confidential information with discretion is paramount.
High-level proficiency in productivity software such as Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and other document management systems is necessary.
