About the role
- Design and build sophisticated analytical models that predict, measure performance and identify trends for Stars reporting
- Utilize advanced statistical techniques to generate actionable insights
- Continuously update reporting capabilities to adjust to Oak Street needs
- Develop and maintain forecasting models that project Oak Street’s performance in various CMS Stars measures
- Regularly analyze performance data to identify areas for improvement and recommend strategies to enhance ratings
- Draw insights from performance data and highlight areas of opportunity by market for field leaders and Oak Street’s senior leadership team
- Prepare clear and concise reports, dashboards, and presentations to communicate performance metrics, trends, and recommendations to Oak Street senior leadership (VP, SVP, & C-suite) and other key stakeholders (Oak Street Medical leadership)
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Clinical Operations, Product, Data, Managed Care Operations, and other Oak Street Health teams, to integrate analytical insights into Oak Street’s overall quality improvement efforts
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements
- 2+ years of consulting, business analytics, and/or other applicable experience in healthcare
- Analytical and data savvy
- Highly proficient with Microsoft Excel, experience working with large datasets
- Experience/proficiency in SQL is a plus
- Ability to succinctly summarize and synthesize large amounts of information
- Detail-oriented with excellent problem-solving abilities
- Effective communication skills with the ability to convey complex analytical findings to non-technical stakeholders
- Strong relationship-building skills to foster collaboration with health plans and internal teams
- Strong interpersonal skills that support effective stakeholder engagement
- Strong written and verbal communication skills; highly proficient with Microsoft PowerPoint
- Someone who is a self-starter
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Strong accountability and discipline against timelines and deliverables
- Passion for excellence, willing to go the extra mile to achieve objectives and ensure consistently high quality work product
- Quick learner and someone who is comfortable with a high level of ambiguity
- Bachelor degree required
