About the role
- Provide oversight and direction regarding primary accounting and financial support
- Maintain and update financial records using databases and spreadsheets
- Prepare comprehensive financial reporting packages in accordance with internal controls
- Research and analyze using data management tools
- Prepare and assist with cash management, AP and AR, accruals and reconciliations
- Communicate complex accounting issues and escalate appropriately
- Ensure compliance and assist with internal and external audits
Requirements
- College degree in Finance or Accounting preferred
- Requires three to five years of experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Experience with Yardi or other real estate accounting software preferred
- Strong Excel and data analytic skills required
