About the role
- Partner closely with business leaders to understand performance gaps and development needs
- Ensure development programs align with business objectives and are implemented as designed
- Work with regional and local leadership to customize programs for specific market conditions
- Monitor program rollout and provide ongoing support to ensure consistent implementation
- Provide direct coaching and mentoring to high-potential brokers and underperforming team members
- Facilitate group learning sessions, workshops, and peer-to-peer learning opportunities
- Conduct skills assessments and support leaders in the creation of individualized development plans
- Support new broker onboarding and integration processes
- Establish and track key performance indicators for broker development programs
- Analyze program effectiveness through data collection, feedback, and performance metrics
- Conduct regular program evaluations and implement improvements based on results
- Report on program outcomes to leadership and recommend strategic adjustments
- Partner with the People Team to design, develop, and continuously improve comprehensive training and development programs for commercial real estate brokers at all experience levels
- Establish measurable learning objectives and success metrics for all development initiatives
- Serve as the primary subject matter expert (SME) for all commercial real estate broker training content
Requirements
- Minimum 7-10 years of successful commercial real estate brokerage experience
- Proven track record of top performance in commercial real estate transactions
- Experience working with cross-functional teams and matrix reporting structures
- 3+ years of experience in coaching, training, or talent development roles preferred
- Deep understanding of commercial real estate markets, transaction processes, and industry dynamics
- Strong knowledge of prospecting, lead generation, relationship building, and deal negotiation
- Familiarity with CRM systems, market analysis tools, and industry databases
- Excellent presentation and facilitation skills
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Real Estate, Education, or related field (preferred)
